how have I not discovered you before I ask! I knew I saw some of your works before and I am sure I faved a few but I don't think I was ever curious enough to check the rest of your gallery. SHAME. ON. ME.
This is a very strong moment you're showing here. The lights, the angle, the proportions, the colors - BOOM. You got me. You see Rafilki mourning - not just sad, but actually mourning. The body language, for a baboon, works great. And here's that sketchy feel again. Gotta love the sketchy feel.
What I would probably argue in the picture's unfavour is that maybe this was not the right brush to shade with... especially the background. You're well on your way to being a very good artist - you know how to set the mood, you have good sense of proportion, you have good construction, know your deabt but maybe you need to try out a few more tricks. Judging from your style maybe, maybe something like this would work better for your: [link] [link]

And thank you for the suggestion about brushes, i might use them, i have downloaded and made some since, I don't think I knew how to do that when i did this xP

Working with disney would be quite a dream come true for me, don't think it'll happen for a while as I would prefer to work for Weta digital at the moment. maybe one day xP same goes for going to america
